We only spent a night here - but had a great time. We stayed in Sand Castle and enjoyed the double story. It was close to the beach and we also used the nearby resort swimming pool. We are definitely going back and would highly recommend it.

Always lovely to stay at Rugged rocks with the beautiful sea views. Lovely beach cottage, we have stayed in most of the cottages at Rugged rocks but our favorite is sea forever which is right on the beach. Very safe and relaxing.

We stayed in the Sea Forever cottage. The cottage was lovely. Very spacious and equiped with everything you need. The cottage is on the beach an you just have to walk over the dune to reach the beautifull beach. I would definately recommend this cottage for any one who loves a beach holiday and would like to relax. Our family will always have fond memories of Port Alfred and the lovely Sea Forever cottage.

We arrived to this hidden gem with stunning sea views, and easily accessible to the beach. Glass windows all around, and a great spa bath to help you relax at night. We spent four days in this self catering resort, and were all sorry when it came to an end. One of the people sharing the accomodation with us left his Apple laptop in one of the rooms, and this was found and returned to us. 10 out of 10 for honesty. Thank you!!

wir waren nach 2008 und 2012 im April 2014 zum 3. (und letzten) mal in einem dieser Häuser (Sea Forever+Paradies View) Sehr schöne Häuser direkt am Strand-taumhafte Lage. Aber diese Häuser haben ihre beste Zeit nun deutlich überschritten. Muffig, die Stelzen abgesackt, wodurch das Haus einseitig abgesackt ist, alles feucht und deutlich abgewohnt. Die Eigentümer sollten hier dringend eine Renovierung durchführen. In den sechs Jahren seit unserem ersten Urlaub hat sich nichts!!! verändert-schade.

Im Beach Cottage "Paradise View" "nisteten" wir uns für 4 Tage ein, welches keine 2 Minuten zu Fuss vom Strand entfernt lag. Wir hatten gleich ein grösseres Häuschen für bis zu 6 Leute angemietet. Unser Schlafzimmer mit Meeresblick hatte ein eigenes Bad mit WC. Die grosse Küche war super ausgestattet und vom geräumigen Wohn- und Esszimmer hatte man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Auf der überdachten Terrasse konnte man sich auch bei Regen aufhalten. Die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter mit ihren Hunden wohnen auf dem weitläufigen Areal.

Rugged Rocks is beautifully located affording you privacy. The beaches are within walking distance and are clean and very peaceful. From the cottage we stayed in you actually walk through a canopy of sea bush to get to the beach.
I would highly recommend Rugged Rocks beach cottages. We personally stayed in "Paradise View" last year and were priviledged to see whales from the comfort of our balcony on 3 or 4 occasions including a mother which appeared to be teaching her baby to breach while hunting.
We will be back this year and are really looking forward to creating more wonderful memories at Rugged Rocks!

Beautiful surroundings but the photo on the internet is totally different than the cabin we stayed in. That was a disappointment. I know the front ones are more expensive, but then show the people what the other cabins look like.
